Getting Started
Every successful roofing project begins long before the first shingle is installed. Here is how we prepare.
We will visit your home and take all the measurements needed to properly quote your roof repair or roof replacement project.
We will order all the necessary materials in preparation for the roof installation project and schedule service with you.
We will remind you in the days before your installation of the project start date and time. We will also provide a list of action items to complete before construction begins, such as removing valuables from shelves and walls so you are fully prepared for installation day. Our team will arrive on time and in uniform.
We ensure that both workers and homeowners remain safe throughout the roofing process and that everyone understands how to safely enter and exit the home while work is being performed.
Installation
A look at the step-by-step process our crews follow on every asphalt shingle installation.
Before installing the new roof, we remove the old roof to ensure the wood decking underneath is in good condition. If repairs are required, they are completed during this stage.
We begin by installing the ice and water shield barrier to prevent leaks caused by wind-driven rain and ice dams. This barrier is placed in areas most vulnerable to leaks.
The remainder of the roof is covered in synthetic breathable felt, which provides an additional protective layer between the shingles and the roof deck.
This important step secures your roof edges against rain and wind damage. We install F8 Aluminum Drip Edge on all roof edges, along with GAF Pro Starter Strip Shingles to help prevent shingle blow-offs.

Once shingles are installed, we add roof ridge vents to help remove heat and moisture from your attic. We install a 12-inch filtered GAF Cobra Snow Country Advanced Ridge Vent using three-inch hand roofing nails and finish the system with GAF TimberTex Ridge Caps for extra protection in high-stress areas.
